Welcome to Let Me Shine!
Let Me Shine Christian Playschool and Preschool is an outreach ministry of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church. We are just a few minutes from the University of Utah at 1070 South Foothill Drive inside Zion Lutheran Church. We began serving the Salt Lake community in 2002 and we are state licensed and a non-profit preschool.
Let Me Shine provides a loving, nurturing Christian environment during your child’s preschool years. We accept 18 months to five years old. Your child is safe and secure, cared for by our outstanding staff of qualified teachers and aides. We love to have parents join us for tours of our school and observation of the classrooms.
Your child will learn something new every day through hands-on experiences. A child engrossed in play is developing initiative, curiosity and the joy of exploration. Each day includes free choice play in our creative learning centers, circle time, snack, art projects and outside play on our beautiful playground. Your child will also enjoy music class and chapel once a week.

Open Enrollment begins February 1, 2024*
*Applications are received on a first come-first served basis and applications are accepted year round. Applications turned in before February 1, 2024 are marked with the date and time received and filed until enrollment opens to the general public. Current families and Zion members begin re-enrollment on Thursday, January 4, 2024.

Our family loves Let Me Shine. I have had multiple children at Let Me Shine over the last 5 years. The teachers and administrators are so caring and knowledgeable. They teach with love and understanding. The curriculum taught in the classroom has more than prepared my children to enter Kindergarten. Both of my children entered elementary school more advanced than most of their peers. The way that the kids learn about Jesus is very simple and easy to understand. They learn about the basic principles of love, acceptance, and kindness through song, dance, and storytelling.
